CEBU, Philippines - Everything is already in place for the inaugural staging of Hunat Sugbu Triathlon set on October 6 in Oslob south of Cebu.
The race features the standard and sprint distances. The standard distance will have the individual and relay, while the sprint will be an open division.
The age groups under the male division are 18-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49 and 50-above, while the female side only has three, 18-29, 30-39 and 40-above.
Cash prizes will be given away to the top finishers.
Registration is now going on at Cebu Parklane International Hotel. Entry fee is pegged at P1,800 inclusive of a finisher's shirt, medal, race bib, helmet and bike number stickers, loot bag, visor, swim cap, race belt, carbo loading dinner on October 5 and a buffet lunch at the finish line.
Slots are limited only to the first 250 individuals in the standard division, 100 in the sprint and 20 in the relay event. (FREEMAN)
