CEBU, Philippines - The organizers of the 1st Amway Fun Run 2013 challenges the Cebu running community to break the Manila leg’s total number of participants during the event’s final leg set on February 16 at Parkmall in Mandaue City.
The Manila edition drew 1,500 entries and the organizers are confident Cebu can break it due to the running boom here.
The charity event is for the benefit of Carreta Elementary School as part of Amway's global campaign named 'One by One Campaign for Children' wherein they adopt a school and give out books for the kids.
Though the registration fee is pegged at P595, the participants will get their money's worth as it includes as race pack and Nutrilite daily foil pack, free sign up for the company’s membership for the 5K finishers plus a raffle coupon with an Ipod touch and Amway products at stake. (FREEMAN)
