IPI-Online caging unfurls this Saturday

CEBU, Philippines - The 1st Omega Pro and Casino Active Christmas Basketball League will kick off this Saturday at the Cebu Eastern College (CEC) gym.

The developmental tournament is presented by International Pharmaceuticals Inc. (IPI) in partnership with Online Basketball Training Camp of former PBA cager Mark Anthony Tallo.

A total of eight teams each are joining the hardcourt battle, four each in the 12-under and 15-under divisions.

The competing squads that include the CEC Dragons, the Cebu Institute of Technology-University (CIT-U) Wildkittens-manned Thumbs Up and Don Bosco Technology Center (DBTC) will play in a single round robin format, with the top two qualifiers automatically slugging it out for the championship.

Aside from backing up the age-group joust, IPI's Omega Pro and Casino Active will also be supporting the 2013 season of the annual Online hoop clinic.  (FREEMAN)
