Talisay vs.Minglanillain Gullas Cup finals

CEBU, Philippines - Talisay and Minglanilla emerged as the elimination round topnotchers to set up a championship showdown in the 10th Gullas Cup Inter-Town Basketball Tournament in the First District of Cebu.

For being the top qualifier with a 9-1 win-loss record, Talisay earned homecourt advantage over Minglanilla in their title match on December 1 at the Talisay Sports Complex.

Minglanilla, which drubbed Carcar in its final assignment 82-73, finished second in the overall standings with an 8-2 slate.

Prior to the Talisay-Minglanilla duel scheduled at 8:30 pm, the third and fourth seeds San Fernando (5-5) and Carcar (4-6) will slug it out for the third place trophy in the 7 pm opener. (FREEMAN)
