10 Most Outstanding Youth of Cebu City recognized

CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu City Youth Development Office (CCYDO) ended 2024  with a blast by awarding the city’s 10 most outstanding youth leaders as well as recognizing other deserving Cebuanos via the 3rd Kadaugan Sa Kabatan-onan sa Sugbo.

The top 10 Most Outstanding Youth awardees are Maria Sonia Fate Cal-Dela Pena, Julian Philippe Signe, Luis Gerunda, Leonard Demar, Roosevelt Rayco, Matthew Jose Estenzo, Yankee Caburnay, Vaugn Collette Saquin, Trisha Tyne Omictin, Genesis Divine Ormillo.

“This program not only highlights individual achievements but also represents the collective aspirations and inspiring stories of countless young people across our city,” the CCYDO said during the recognition program held recently.

Special citations were also given to five other individuals for various achievements.

Kaye Gabe was given an award on volunteerism and Prince Rameses Badana on community development.

Christian Ronald Pilapil, for his part, was recognized for organization partnership and integration.

John Erick Sebuco was awarded for social inclusion, while Elmar Lumanog was recognized for his positive social media influence.

“These awardees exemplify leadership, service, and inclusivity, inspiring the Cebuano youth to make a meaningful impact in our society,” CCYDO added. — (FREEMAN)
