CEBU, Philippines —   A bigger, better Flower Festival is being eyed by the Cebu City government for next year.

City agriculturist Joey Baclayon noted that this year’s festival drew more participants and is becoming more competitive with each edition.

“Every year, nagka-improve ang atoang presentation, ang atong mga contest, and also ang ni-participate pud,” Baclayon said via the City’s PIO.

With that, Baclayon is looking for a much better and bigger edition next year.

This year’s edition saw 20 mountain barangays participating in the 14th Flower Festival. The city’s Flower Festival started in 2010.
