DJ shot dead on Mango Ave.
CEBU, Philippines — A bar disc jockey (DJ) was shot dead by an unknown assailant on Gen. Maxilom Ave. (formerly Mango Ave.), Cebu City past 3 a.m. yesterday.
Authorities identified him as Junrey Garces Jimeno, 27, a resident of MacArthur, Brgy. Tinago, Cebu City.
Abellana Police Station reported that they received the alarm at dawn immediately sent a team. Responding personnel led by Major Mark Don Alfred Leanza found Jimeno lying on a pool of blood and with a gunshot wound to the head.

The co-worker told the police that he was walking behind Jimeno when a motorcycle driven by a man wearing a black shirt suddenly arrived and for no apparent reason shot Jimeno in the head.
