CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu City Police Office has welcomed the plan of Mayor Michael Rama to conduct inspections in all police stations in the city.
“We really appreciate kay si mayor, he has been very supportive sa atoang kapulisan. We will really appreciate kung moduwa pud siya sa atoang tagsa-tagsa ka estatsyon kay murag dugay na gyud ni niya gustong byuhaton. Siguro kay na overwhelmed lang pud sya or na-overtaken by other events nga mas importante pa sa iyang pagduaw sa police,” said Police Lieutenant Colonel Janette Rafter, the deputy city director for operations at the CCPO.
She also added that police personnel in different stations in the city would be happy if the mayor would pay them a visit.
Rafter assured that the police are doing their best to maintain the peace and order in the city, as a way of giving back to the Cebuanos.
“Again we assure the mayor nga ang atong kapulisan naningkamot gyud. We are giving back sa atong komunidad, sa tibuok Sugbuanon, sa tibuok Cebu City ug unsay suporta nga ilang gipakita kanamo and besides ana obligasyon gyud namo sa mga kapulisan ang patim-aw sa kahapsay ug kalinaw sa isa ka lugar,” Rafter added. — (FREEMAN)
