CCLEX braces for needs of motorists

Caecent No-ot Magsumbol - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines —  The Cebu Cordova Link Expressway Corporation (CCLEC) has scaled up its operations to ensure smooth flow of traffic and the safety of its motorists during the upcoming All Saints’ Day and All Souls’ Day.

Additional measures are put in place to provide efficient traffic management and promptly respond to road users’ needs.

This includes fielding all of its 16 patrol crew members, intensifying patrol visibility inside the 8.9-kilometer expressway.

Aside from that, an additional 44 security personnel are also positioned in key areas of the facility, including its pedestrian and bike lanes also to further enhance security.

A unit of the Emergency Rescue Unit Foundation 24/7 stationed inside the expressway is also on high alert and ready to immediately respond to traffic accidents and medical emergencies.

On the other hand, the CCLEX’s toll plaza is expected to have an increased number of toll associates, with 20 of them being fielded to provide assistance at the toll lanes while CCLEX’s Customer Service Centers (CSC) located near the toll plaza will also remain open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. to cater to motorists’ needs such as RFID installation, RFID reloading, and other RFID queries or concerns. RFID installation remains free.

Walk-ins are accepted but they can register ahead at https://bit.ly/CCLEXORRAS for faster transactions.

Road users are also encouraged to use their CCLEX RFID and ensure their accounts have sufficient balance before their trips.

Motorists can load up their RFID anytime, anywhere via the MPT DriveHub app especially now that reloading options are already available through ECPay over-the-counter partners, including all 7-Eleven stores (via their CLIQQ machines), among many others.

RFID users only need their 10-digit CCLEX RFID account number, contact number, and desired reload amount. One can access their CCLEX RFID account details thru https://bit.ly/CCLEXORRAS and click Manage Appointment.
