CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu City Police Office is preparing a complaint against the three alleged victims of robbery and kidnapping who include a Chinese businessman should the camera footage debunk their claims.
CCPO director, Police Colonel Ireneo Dalogog, said that Mayor Michael Rama has issued certification allowing the local police to review the CCTV of an establishment near the alleged place of incident.
According to Dalogdog, this CCTV footage will be the last piece to verify whether the alleged abduction and robbery that occurred on July 10 was true.
“Kay sa tulo nato ka CCTV nga gi-view sa nagkalain-lain nga lugar nga maoy gi-mention sa maong alleged na victims, wala man juy nahimong commotion or robbery and abduction nga nahitabo,” said Dalogdog.
“So last nalang gyud na sya, basig ugma naa na gyud na syay resulta, pag mabahibaw-an nato na wala gihapon, so kami sa Cebu City Police Office, kinahanglan kato pung nagbuhat ani, kung tinuod man gyud nga walay nahitabong robbery/abduction, mangita mig pamaagi nga kaning mga tawhana na involve, mapasakaan pud nato sila og sumbong,” he added.
Dalogdog lamented that the report has affected the peace and order in the city - an enough ground for filing of complaint charges against the alleged victims.
