Tumulak asks survivors to donate blood plasma

Decemay P. Padilla - The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines —  Cebu City Councilor Dave Tumulak is urging barangay officials in Cebu City, especially for those who have residents who had recovered from COVID-19, to encourage them to donate their blood plasma.

This, after the Department of Health, through the Regional Blood Service Unit, has asked those who had recovered to donate blood plasma.

Tumulak said this would greatly help those who are COVID-19 positive who are admitted in the different medical facilities.

He added that those who would be donating need not worry, since the process does not take so much time.

Tumulak is coordinating with Cebu City Association of Barangay Council President Franklyn Ong for the initiative.  GAN (FREEMAN)
