CEBU, Philippines - Mambaling Police Station operatives have arrested a suspected drug pusher Wednesday night in Sitio Riverside, Barangay Duljo-Fatima, Cebu City.
Roderick Dalogdog, 30, was arrested after police officers who were on their way to serve a warrant of arrest to another suspect caught him holding a pack of shabu in a dark alley in Sitio Riverside past 7 p.m.
“Padulong me mag-serve og warrant, nakit-an namo siya sa eskinita nagpitik-pitik sa shabu sa may hayag,” said Police Officer 3 Albert Sator.
The police confronted Dalogdog and asked what he was holding. When the suspect showed them the medium pack of suspected shabu, he was immediately arrested.
“Pagdakop na sir, nihamag man na ang mga silingan morag nag-people power, upat ra man ang operatiba mao tong gidala na lang siya sa estasyon,” Sator added.
Meanwhile, a suspected drug pusher was also arrested by Borbon police past 1 a.m. yesterday in a buy-bust in Barangay Laaw, Borbon town.
Gregorio “Gorio” Bayno, 57, of Sitio Matin-a, Barangay Laaw, Borbon town was arrested after he handed a pack of suspected shabu to a police poseur-buyer.
Bayno was reportedly placed under surveillance after the police heard of his illegal activities. The police recovered three small packs of suspected shabu and a P200 buy-bust money.
Bayno did not show any resistance when he was arrested and was brought to the police station.
Dalogdog and Bayno will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (FREEMAN)
