Tricycle driver got his genitals shot over game

CEBU, Philippines - It wasn’t a very lucky day for a tricycle driver last Friday after his genitals got shot at twice by another man he was playing a game with in Balamban town.

The victim was identified as Dexter “Bodoy” Rosario, 24, while the suspect was identified as Richard Senarlo, 47. Both are residents of Balamban.  SPO1 Jose Villarin said Rosario had to be transferred to a hospital in Cebu City because his condition reportedly worsened while at the Balamban Provincial Hospital.

“Ang biktima dili pod patan-aw… gidala sa Cebu City kay nigrabi na…ang doctor miingon na-igo gyud,” Villarin said.

“Daan nang naglalis, pagka-ugma gipangita ang suspek, away sa hantak, a day before sa hitabo, gipangitaan sa bato ug, gipasanginlan nga siya ang naglabay sa antogan,” he added.

Investigation revealed that Rosario and Rosario were playing a local game called “hantak” the day before and argued about the bet.

At past 9 p.m. Friday, Senarlo looked for Senarlo who he believed threw away a stone (antogan) they used in the game. He found him at a nipa hut and asked, “Isog gyud diay ka didi doy?” after which he drew out a .45 caliber pistol and shot Rosario in the genitals twice.

Senarlo then fled on board a motorcycle and remained at large as of yesterday.  Police recovered two empty shells of a .45 caliber pistol from the crime scene. (FREEMAN)
