PUJ collision injures three

CEBU, Philippines - Three people were injured during a collision of two public utility jeepneys yesterday afternoon at the corner of V. Gullas and D. Jakosalem Streets.

PUJ driver Petronito Dela Torre, conductor Delia Lofranco, and one unidentified passenger were immediately rushed to Cebu City Medical Center.

Dela Torre’s PUJ, with route number 03L, collided with another PUJ with route number 02B driven by Rolando Cadavida.

Cadavida claimed that Dela Torre was over speeding when the accident happened.

“Wa manay suga diha dapat magbantay ang dri-ver sa O3L. Ang akong dagan kay natural raman,” Cadavida said.

Cadavida and his 10 passengers were all safe. (FREEMAN)
