Foreman shot dead

CEBU, Philippines - A 33-year old foreman was shot dead by two unidentified motorcycle-riding gunmen in Nivel Hills, Barangay Busay, Cebu City last night.

Rufo Dulat, foreman of Felman Builders and Contractors, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds.

 Charlyn, the victim’s wife, said her husband had just arrived from his office at round 6:15 p.m. As he stopped in front of their sari-sari store, the two unidentified assailants arrived and started shooting at the victim.

 According to Charlyn, it was the back rider who shot her husband several times hitting him on his back, left and right arms, and left side of the body.

Dulat was rushed to Perpetual Succour Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. His attackers fled towards upper Busay.

Crime Scene Investigation Unit led by SPO2 Teodoro Lumanas recovered four spent shells of caliber .45, two deformed slugs and the victim’s motorcycle.

 Homicide investigators are still conducting investigation on the motive of the shooting.  (FREEMAN)
