School gets new CRs from three Rotary clubs

CEBU, Philippines - The three rotary clubs in Cebu, Japan and Manila have joined forces in donating comfort room materials in a school in northern Cebu yesterday morning.

 Rotary Club of Japan President Yakahi Yoshio together with the Rotary Club of Cebu President Roben Ong, Rotary Club of San Marcelino in Manila President Philip Jacobo and San Marcelino's international representative Nubuyuki Segawa donated five urinals, four hand washing materials and five cubicles for the males' comfort room and three hand washing materials and seven cubicles for the female's comfort room.

Veronica Cabahug, principal of Simeon Ayuda Elementary School in Liloan town said that the Rotary Club of San Marcelino's international representative Segawa also donated 1,800 Mongol pencils yesterday morning for the students' everyday use.

Cabahug added that Segawa's lot is located at the back of the school. Moreover, Segawa also provided the water supply for the school's comfort rooms.

Every year, Segawa visits the school three to four times.  (FREEMAN)
