CEBU, Philippines - The family of the late vice governor Gregorio Sanchez Jr. has offered to bring in used hospital equipment from Canada for the district hospitals.
Provincial Board Member-elect Grecilda Sanchez-Zaballero accompanied her sister, Gerlaida “Gerlie†Sanchez-Spiller and family, at the Capitol last Friday to pay a courtesy visit on acting Governor Agnes Magpale.
Magpale told reporters that Canada-based Spiller has mentioned to her about a friend who is willing to donate used medical equipment.

“We certainly can use these equipment labi na nga naay district hospital nga bag-ong gihimo,†Magpale said.
There are 16 district hospitals in the Province of Cebu. Four of them are to be upgraded into provincial hospitals.
