Lechon downs 40 people
CEBU, Philippines - More than 40 persons, including detainees of Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP), were reportedly poisoned by lechon that they ate on Sunday in Danao City.
Families and detainees allegedly experienced loose bowel movement (LBM) few minutes after eating lechon they bought at a fastfood store in Barangay Poblacion.
Fortunately, all detainees are now safe after seeking assistance from the Municipal Health Office and the Danao City Provincial Hospital.
But some of the families who are downed by the lechon are still reportedly confined at the hospitals.

"Giapod-apod sa mga piniriso sa sulod ang lechon unya kutob sa nakakaon mao to nagkalibang," Flores told The FREEMAN.
Supt. Resty Santos, Danao City police chief, said they are waiting for complainant from the victims for the filing of case against the fast food store owner. — (FREEMAN)
