VECO makes paying bills easier

CEBU, Philippines - The Visayan Electric Company (VECO) is now using a single reference number for bills payment – the Account Identification Number (Account ID), in order to simplify transactions for its customers.

Last October 1, VECO used the Customer Reference Code (CRC) as the payment reference number for bills payment made through third party collection agents.

The Account ID number is at the upper left corner of VECO’s electricity bills together with the account name.

VECO modified their systems moving towards their partners not to be CRC number- dependent  anymore.

As of the moment, customers may know their CRC number from a VECO bill prior to October and have this handy when paying through a VECO payment partner.

They may also call the VECO call center at 230-8326.

Online payments and payments through a third party agent including banks, are among VECO’s most convenient bills payment options aside from its own collection offices at SM City Cebu, Talisay, Piazza Elesia in Talamban, Liloan and Consolacion.

VECO’s bills payment can be transacted through Bancnet and Megalink-affiliated banks and other payment partners which include CIS Bayad Center (USSC- Western Union), 2GO, Star Bayad, 7-Eleven powered by EC Pay, BDO, Citibank and Unionbank, among others.

VECO customers may visit veco.com.ph, visit the VECO facebook page (visayanelectriccompany) or inquire via twitter (VECO_Cebu) to find a payment solution  most suited to their needs.

VECO is the second largest private electric utility in the Philippines and serves the energy needs of four cities namely Cebu, Mandaue, Talisay, and Naga and four municipalities including Liloan, Consolacion, Minglanilla and San Fernando.

VECO is owned and managed by publicly-listed Aboitiz Power Corporation (PSE: AP) and Vivant Corporation (PSE: VVT). — (FREEMAN)
