CEBU, Philippines — Last October 30, the Norwegian Shipowners Association chief executive officer Harald Solberg visited the University of Cebu Lapu-Lapu and Mandaue (ULCM), participating in the inspection of cadets and a tour of the institution.
The University of Cebu is a longtime partner institution of the NSA Philippines Cadet Program through maritime courses offered in UCLM and the UC Maritime Education and Training Center. Since 2008, the partnership between UC and the NSA Philippines Cadet Program has produced more than 4,000 graduates and has helped more than 6,000 scholars. (YRST)
