“Pink Barbie Exhibit” for Cancer Awareness

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines — Twenty-four designer-dressed Barbie dolls were showcased in this year’s holding of the annual “Pink Barbie Exhibit” fundraiser.

Displayed at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu recently, designers affiliated with the Fashion Association of Cebu’s Elite Talents (FACETS) organization dressed different dolls in various ball gown styles – each reflective of cuts and styles which the members of the organization are individually known for.

Spearheaded by SM City Cebu and the ICanServe Foundation, the exhibit enjoined mallgoers to purchase specially dressed Barbie doll collectibles to benefit the programs and initiatives of the ICanServe Foundation for six years running.

The yearly fundraiser has raised more than P200,000 since its initial run in 2013. (YRST)
