The Cebuanos, and those who just love Spanish cuisine, had experienced a true Spanish fiesta as Marco Polo Plaza Cebu brought a rich and flavorful culinary festival… Sabores de España!
Last Thursday, September 13, Sabores de España was launched with Honorary Consul of Spain in Cebu, Consul Anton Perdices, and Amigos de España president Myra Gonzalez as guests of honor slicing the usual Jamon Serrano with Srta. Gema Pido, Cebu`s authority on Spanish cuisine, and Marco Polo general manager Brian Connelly assisting. This was the 12th year Sabores de España was celebrated at Marco Polo Plaza Cebu.
From September 14 to 16, the most delicious and delectable spread of Spanish dishes were presented… Spanish specialties like Jamon Serrano, Paella, Fabadas, Lengua Estofado, assorted Tapas and, of course, Café Marco`s very own Spanish Sangrias.
Aside from the Spanish dishes, served too were Café Marco`s delicious spread of international cuisine.
