CEBU, Philippines — This September, SM Supermalls underscores everyone’s meaningful bond with grandpa and grandma as SM celebrates Grandparents’ Day on September 9. Recognizing the beloved seniors’ tenderness towards the family, this season also allows grandparents to express their love for their grandkids through a host of fun-filled activities at SM.
The young ones may bring their grandparents and hear the Sunday Mass at 9 a.m. at the Northwing Atrium of SM City Cebu, and at the second level of SM City Consolacion. Together they may watch heart-tugging performances for lolo and lola at the lower ground floor of SM City Cebu from 1 to 6 p.m., and at the Event Centre in SM City Consolacion.
It’s an afternoon of music and art for grandparents to enjoy at the Art with “Ap?” station, also at the lower ground level from 1 to 6 p.m. they may drop by the “Grandparent’s Snaps” photo booth at the lower ground level and feel like royalty with grandparents as they all pose with their grannies as kings and queens.
Lolos and lolas may groove to their favorite 50s and 60s music on the dance floor in “Senior’s Disco Shindig” at the Event Centre of SM City Consolacion.
