Tingog sa Lungsod & CAMP Awarding Ceremony
Tingog sa Lungsod radio program on its 33rd Anniversary Celebration in cooperation with Cebu Breakfast Club, Inc. and Cebu Association of Media Practitioners (CAMP) held its 15th Awarding Ceremony of The Outstanding Cebuano Award (TOCA) on August 15 at the Social Hall of Sacred Heart Center.
Guest Speaker was Hon. Siegfred B. Mison, Commissioner, Bureau of Immigration while Hon. Jesus M. Redelosa, Chairman Board of Mechanical Engineering was the Keynote Speaker. Former Congressman Antonio V. Cuneco, who is one of the awardees made the response in behalf of his fellow awardees.
Engr. Greg S. Senining who is the chief anchorman of Tingog sa Lungsod radio program and the Executive Director of TOCA presented this year's TOCA awardees as follows: Hon. Tony Cuenco, in the field of Public Service, Engr. Jesus M. Redelosa, in the field on Engineering, Engr. Mirardo C. Malazarte in the field of Management, Engr. Rolando Patalingjug, in the field of Government Service, Dr. Adrian P. Ybanez, in the field of Science and Technology, Engr. Ben Ryan Ybanez, in the field of Entrepreneurship, Mr. Lito Maderazo, in the field of Community Service, Hon. Valeriano Q. Ylanan, in the field of Poverty Alleviation, Mr. Vincent Cabahug, in the field of Young Entrepreneurship and Mr. Felixberto Tigol Jr., in the field of Environment.
Provincial Board Member Grecilda "Gigi" Sanchez-Zaballero, who was an awardee in 2012, introduced the Keynote Speaker and Atty. George Bragat introduced the Guest Speaker. Former Cebu City Councilor Erny Elizondo was the presentor of the awards.
Mayor Mike Rama was supposed to do the welcome address but he instead sent Councilor Gerry Carillo to take his place for he had previous appointment. So with Gov. Hilario Davide III who sent a representative in the person of Ms. Ethel Natera, the Chief Capitol PRO.
All the awardees brought along their family and friends to witness the big affair.
