Justice League Run in Cebu

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines – It's a fun run where participants wear their favorite superhero costume. Health and fitness advocates are invited to join the Justice League Run in Cebu.

After the successful staging of the World of DC Comics All Star Fun Run in Metro Manila last April, Warner Bros. has given its go signal to replicate the event in Cebu. The Justice League Run is scheduled for September 26 at SM City Cebu.

Participants are to wear the singlet of their favorite Justice League character - either Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern or the Flash. Additional accessories are to be provided - cape for Superman, headpiece for Wonder Woman and mask for Batman, the Flash and Green Lantern. Runners are also to receive a race bib, sling bag and finishers’ medal.

The Flash and Batman themselves will be gracing the event. The appearance of the superheroes is an opportunity for those who would like to take pictures and run with them.

The run comes in three categories: 3K, 5K and 10K. Registration fees are at P600, P700 and P800, respectively. Interested participants may register at Chris Sports at SM Cebu and Ayala as well as Island Souvenirs stores, in Ayala, SM, Salinas, Regal, Sinulog Square and Raintree Mall. Online registration is also possible at www.zalora.com.ph.

The Justice League Fun Run is in celebration if the opening of the 1,500th store of 7-Eleven, and is made possible with the support of Bigbite Purefoods Tender Juicy Hotdog, Slurpee and Zalora.
