Horror Park: The Screams Takes to a Higher Decibel

CEBU, Philippines – It has become quite customary for people watch horror movies during the Halloween season. What’s better yet are the different “horror” gimmicks happening everywhere – costume parties, trick or treat, horror booths.

One anticipated Halloween event in the city is the Horror Park at Parkmall. Although last year’s staging was rather lackluster – in the light of the calamities that befell the country – the mall has not slackened on the yearly tradition. The resolve for the Horror Park gets even stronger this time with people inquiring about it on the social media, like Facebook.

True enough, people have been queuing at Parkmall’s Horror Park, since it opened on October 17.  The fright has been taken to another level, scarier with a multi-themed horror setting with different “monsters” waiting at every turn.

Parkmall’s Horror Park truly lives up to its name, starting with the spooky cemetery by the entrance, the hallway of skulls, the “Anabelle” sequence (which was SUPER terrifying), the tunnel of the hanging dead, the blood soaked bridge, and the forest park for the finale. This is where the screams really take to a higher decibel.

The Horror Park runs until November 9. More details at: www.facebook.com/ilikeparkmall.
