Regional finals of mall kiddie star search today
CEBU, Philippines - Kent James Flor and Hanna Faith Mag-aso of Cebu, ElanWil Arles and Shawna Din Lo of Bacolod City, Jun Carlos Gumacal and Venice Xandria Abella of IloIlo City compete to represent the region in the Grand Finals of “SM Little Stars” in Manila.
The Visayas regional finals take place today at 3 p.m. at the Event Centre of SM City Cebu. The grand finals and the awarding of prizes will be held on August 24, 2014 (2pm-5pm) at the Centerstage, SM Mall of Asia.
“SM Little Stars” gives children the opportunity to showcase their talents and gain confidence while building values such as respect, good sportsmanship and camaraderie.
For the first time in its eight-year run, “SM Little Stars” brings the fun and excitement on national TV! Viewers everywhere can now see the journey unfold this season as brilliant kids take on the challenges to become SM’s next shining star.
Criteria for judging for Regional Finals are Star Quality 30%, Personality 20%, and Talent 50%.
Grand winners will receive cash and gift certificates from SM Supermalls and corporate sponsors, plus a free trip to China.
