“All About Swiss”
CEBU, Philippines - It’s that time of the year again when “All About Swiss” takes place in the city. On Friday, August 1, the merry tradition of the Swiss National Festival unfolds at the Grand Balcony of Marco Polo Plaza Cebu. Global citizens are invited to join in an exciting week of culinary journey to Switzerland, as well as celebrate Swiss National Day.
His Excellency Raoul Imbach, Deputy Head of Mission – Embassy of Switzerland in the Philippines, is to attend Friday’s event. From 6:30 p.m. onwards, international friends come together to delight in each other’s company. There’s a fabulous Swiss buffet spread, free-flowing drinks, great entertainment, traditional Swiss games, and lots of fun and exciting raffle prizes.
From August 1 to 10, the rich culinary goodness of Switzerland is served for lunch and dinner at Café Marco. The restaurant’s world-class chefs recreate a complete world of Swiss cuisine – from Alpine-dried beef to chocolates, cheese fondue and raclette, sausages and Zurich-style sliced meat. It’s offered alongside Café Marco’s international buffet favorites. Lunch is from 12:00 to 2:30 p.m., and dinner from 6:30 until 10 p.m.
