Cella installation & induction of officers

The Cebu Lady Lawyers Association, Inc. (CELLA) recently installed its officers for the year 2014 and 2015. The formal installation and induction of officers was held last March 15, 2014, at Casino Español. No less than Associate Justice of the Supreme Court, Justice Marvic Mario Victor G. Leonen was the inducing officer and guest speaker. The theme of the event was "Ladies in Law: Becoming Relevant Amidst Challenging Times."

The past presidents of Cella, namely: Atty. Arlinda Famulaga, Dean Corazon Valencia-Evangelista, Justice Marilyn Yap, Atty. Gingging Navarro-Laude, Atty. Sylvia Almase-Suarez, Atty. Jugce Jugao-Adlawan, Judge Anne Marie Militante and Atty. Melina Almase-Martinez were all surprised when the inaugural speech of President Joje Z. Decal was a tribute to them, whom Atty. Decal branded as the empowered women behind Cella. Each of them received an elegant bouquet from the officers.

The event was well attended with no less than the legal luminaries of the Court of Appeals-Visayas gracing the event, namely Justice Gabriel Ingles, Justice Marilyn Yap, Justice Eliza Simpio-Diy and Justice Pamela Ann Maxino.
