MSYCFI Free Clinicin Tabogon

The Mariquita Salimbangon Yeung Charitable Foundation, Inc. in tandem with Congressman Benhur Salimbangon in cooperation with Mayor Dodong Duterte of Tabogon town, sponsored the first time ever medical, surgical and dental mission in this northern town of Cebu… ably coordinated by Executive Director Monette Aliño.

More than 100 medical volunteers composing of pediatricians, FAMEDS, surgeons, nurses, dentists, pharmacists and MSY staff volunteered to have this free clinic held at the Sports Complex in Tabogon. Services rendered were pedia and adult consultations, pap smear, minor surgery, skin examination and dental extractions. More than a thousand residents of Tabogon and neighboring barangays took advantage of this opportunity to see and consult medical practitioners from Cebu City.

Led by Doctor-Director of the MSY Foundation Dr. Debbie Limchiu, the mission was participated in by Dr. Boyet Quitevis, president of MSYCFI, Dr. Vivina Chiu, Dr. Gening Solano, Dr. Wilma Lucero and members of the Phil. Ped. Society, Dr. Lourdes Narcise and the PWMA, Dr. Marilou Ong, Dr. Elaine Nielo, Provincial Health office led by Glenn Tirado and Drs. Mario Fernandez and Glomeras Comendador, doctors from the POGS and surgeons for minor surgery. Aside from the dentists from PHO, dentists from the Juanito King Foundation joined the mission with their dental van.
