Very low key, bakeshop expert and Ormoc-based Joey Rama Kintanar would not have wanted a big party and publicity in any form. But well-loved as he is in the family, they all got together to plan a surprise 50th dinner party for him in another cousin’s restobar, the Raphael’s Grill and Restobar located in Andres Abellana.
Joey’s lovely wife Delia and kids JG, JV and JC made sure all of Joey’s closest relatives and friends were accounted for that night, not to mention his college buddies whom he haven’t seen in ages, much to his surprise. Everyone enjoyed the sumptuous buffet and the brief program which featured the recorded messages of his other cousins who are based abroad.
The evening capped with endless booze while jamming with the acoustic band that played the hits of the 70s and 80s.
