Women proved they can be as gorgeous in pursuit of their advocacy against cervical cancer in their event.

Several obstetricians and gynecologists, as well as resident physicians-in-training of Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) and Philippine Obstetrical and Gynecological Society, modeled and walked the stage of Ayala Center Cebu Activity Center last May 30 in the creations of Fashion Inc. Cebu designers— Hanz Coquilla, Jonas Navarro, Lord Maturan, Edwin Alba, and Rey Humberto Villegas.

Dubbed “At Your Cervix,” the event was hosted by Jude Bacalso and directed by Joey Alberto.

“This year, we are culminating the ‘Scarlet May Celebration’ in a truly unique way. The worlds of fashion and medicine have joined forces to come up with a fashion-show-for-a-cause as a way of creating awareness regarding cervical cancer,” said Dr. Helen Amorin of VSMMC-Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
