Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino ushered the Christmas season with Yuletide Symphony last November 29 as one giant Christmas tree sparked in red and gold when Waterfront Cebu City Hotel & Casino GM Alfred Portenschlager and Waterfront Airport Hotel Manager Ma. Theresa Fernandez switched the power button to welcome the Yuletide Season.

The hotel lobby was filled with exquisite food selection which included pralines, various cheeses, and mouthwatering desserts. Wines and cocktail drinks were overflowing that evening. Guests were entertained with Christmas carols from Marigondon Children Chamber String Orchestra. The children were in their Christmas icon costumes…gingerbread, an angel, an elf, were some of the symbols represented in their creative costume.

The one-year-old candy cane boy and the three-year old reindeer girl won the contest and took home a gingerbread house, 2 baskets of goodies, and a gift certificate for an overnight stay at Waterfront Airport Hotel & Casino.

The Cebu City Marriot Hotel (CCMH) once again celebrated their annual Partnerships in Excellence: 2012 Marriott Awards where corporate partners were recognized and celebrated in their newly re-invented Sampaguita Grand Ballroom.The Marriott Awards came in a timely manner as it was an opportunity for Cebu City Marriott Hotel to showcase their newly renovated ballroom which acquired a total make-over…the first in 15 years since the hotel set foot in Cebu City. Awards were given to the hotel's top ten accounts in room sales, to five accounts in banquet sales and special awards for CCMH's top eChannel account, top wholesale account and top contact account in banquet.
