CEBU, Philippines - Cebu Parklane Internaional Hotel celebrates Christmas with a Santa Claus Factory theme.
The 19 ft. Christmas tree adorned with beautiful ornaments, garlands, and festive holiday lights combined with hundreds of different toys reflects the hotel’s goal which is to give happiness to everyone – especially to children.
Guests were entertained by the Mactan Dynamics Dance Company and serenaded by the Fidelis Choir.
Gracing the light-up ceremony were the President of the Cebu Parklane Hotel Mr. Basil Ting, General Manager of the Cebu Parklane Hotel Cenelyn Manguilimotan, Vice Governor Agnes Magpale, Mayor Mike Rama and Department of Tourism Regional Director Rowena Montecillo.
The toys hanging on the Christmas tree were donated by the hotel's employees, guests, and visitors. The donations started last October when big boxes were disseminated at every part of the hotel.
GM Cenelyn Manguilimotan disclosed that the toys hanging on the Christmas tree will be donated to children who are cancer patients this coming January 6. Manguilimotan added that the hotel will also celebrate "Christmas with Angels” in partnership with The FREEMAN Foundation to bring happiness and love to the kids of Lutopan, Toledo, on December 8.
This year's concept, Santa Claus Factory is made possible through the unique ideas of the hotel's official decorator Jaymar Enriquez who spent time and effort to come up with a detailed and a mirror image of a real Santa Claus factory. (FREEMAN)
