Saying “Thank You,” the Cathay Pacific Way

INTOTHESCENE - Han Kintanar -

When we talk about Cathay Pacific, it automatically connotes one of the best in the airline industry...hospitality and service-wise. So when they recently honored their most supportive Cebu travel agents of 2007, where else do you think it was held than one of Cebu’s best, Aziza, with Cathay Pacific’s Manager Cebu, Eddie Kong and CX’s Passenger Sales Manager Connie Sta. Ana-Cimafranca at the helm.

Flowing red and white wine were in-between casual tete-a-tetes and the five-course meal that included a choice of grilled Angus beef or pan fried lobster before the main business of the night, the awarding rites of the Top 10 IATA agents. They were: Marget Villarca (Destinations Specialists), Aida Uy (Cebu Fortune Travel), Zenaida Chua (Worldwide Travel), Gwen Po (Panpacific), Bryan Felicisimo (Uni Orient), Baby Dy (Grand Hope) and Allan Carvajal (Travelways). The top honoree for 2007 was Marilou Pintor of Grand Holidays. A special award that night was awarded to top non-IATA agent, Royal Prince Travel International with Fairlie Uy receiving it.

Macau Government Tourism Office (Phils), breezed into town as the special guest for that one special night. As Cathay Pacific’s way to thank their top producers for their valuable support for year 2007, all of the top 10 agents flew to Macau the following day via business class with Ms. Jet, of course.

Congratulations! Cheers!
