Willie, Toni lead ALLTV’s star-studded soft launch
Viewers were treated to a whole new television experience during the September 13 soft launch of ALLTV, the premiere television station of the Advanced Media Broadcasting System (AMBS).
As the new TV network set its launch at 12 noon, ALLTV geared for a star-studded variety show to give viewers a more exciting brand of entertainment hosted by popular TV host, singer and comedian, Willie Revillame.
Multimedia star Toni Gonzaga gave the audience an exclusive interview with President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. during the pilot episode of her show, followed by more surprises from ALLTV.
ALLTV is giving out two units from Bria and Lumina as Revillame returns to national television with his popular program, “Wowowin”.
To add more fun and excitement, there will be a variety of extravagant dance shows and song numbers, in addition to cash and big prizes which will also be given every hour to lucky television viewers.
“ALLTV is for the Filipino viewers. Gusto natin masaya lahat ng viewers natin. Saya All. We have prepared an exciting and breathtaking show for all of you,” said AMBS President Maribeth Tolentino. “We have outlined programs that will give the Filipinos a new TV experience.”
AMBS, which runs ALLTV, is under the Prime Assets Ventures, Inc. led by businessman Manuel Paolo Villar.
Revillame joins showbiz couple, Gonzaga and multi-awarded director/script writer/producer Paul Soriano; accomplished theater, TV and movie actress, Ciara Sotto; and TV host/endorser Mariel Rodriguez as contract stars of network.
It also signed a content license agreement with CNN Philippines for news content. ALLTV airs on Channel 2 on free TV and Planet Cable; Channel 35 on Cignal TV and Sky Cable, Channel 32 on GSAT, Channel 23 on Cablelink, and Channel 2 on other cable TV providers.

The recently concluded PBA Philippine Cup Game 7 on Sept. 4 was definitely one for the books as the intense match between the San Miguel Beermen and TNT Tropang Giga scored record-high viewership for TV5 and OneSports channel, and also filled Araneta Coliseum to the rafters with the game’s outstanding gate attendance.
There’s no doubt that the Philippines is a basketball nation, with throngs of passionate PBA fans watching the action-packed games in person and via the comprehensive live coverage of TV5 and OneSports channel. Sunday’s Game 7 was a sure treat for sports fans all across the country, with the adrenaline rush reflecting in the record high viewership ratings of TV5 and OneSports.
According to Nielsen NUTAM Overnight Data, the PBA Game 7 telecast on TV5 and OneSports registered a “cumulative unduplicated reach” of 6.9 million viewers and a combined ratings of 6.85 average minute rating (AMR), placing Top 6 Program of the Day across all channels. Moreover, Araneta Coliseum also reported a whopping 15,195 gate attendance for the do-or-die Game 7 match that had the Big Dome reverberating with the collective screams of excited PBA fans last Sunday.
It’s really refreshing to see all the excitement from sports fans all across the country. And if TV5 and OneSports’ high viewership ratings and Araneta Coliseum’s full gate attendance are any indication, the next PBA conference is sure to be a hit as more and more sports fans tune in for their share of the hardcourt action.
