‘PLL’ season 6 poster turns funeral into fashion show

The world is their runway...even at a funeral. E! News just exclusively revealed the “Pretty Little Liars” new season 6 poster to the delight of the hit show’s fans. The brand-new artwork features the five Liars—Aria (Lucy Hale), Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Emily (Shay Mitchell) and Alison (Sasha Pieterse)—carrying a casket while looking ridiculously glamorous, sunglasses and chic black outfits and all.

“Are you strong enough to carry your secrets?” the poster asks, making the wait for the January 12 premiere that much more excruciating.

Plus, five exclusive new, never-before-seen photos from the season six photoshoot—one for each of our favorite leading ladies—showing off the ABC Family hit’s mature new look to go along with its highly anticipated five-year time-jump.

In a fun “flock to unlock” campaign, “Pretty Little Liars” fans were able to unveil the new poster by tweeting #PLLposter as many times as they possibly could. Just how fast was the new artwork unlocked? The #PLLPoster became the No. 1 worldwide trending topic on Twitter faster than you can say “Charlotte DiLaurentis is ‘A.’” Talk about the power of fandom!

In addition to a more adult look and tone, as well as some major relationship shake-ups, fans can also look forward to seeing a new opening credits sequence, which now features all five of the Liars doing the iconic “Shh!” pose.
