CEBU, Philippines – Big Mountain, the American reggae/pop band known for its cover version of Peter Frampton’s “Baby, I Love Your Way” which became a Top 10 hit single in the U.S., reaching No. 6 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100, No. 1 on Mainstream Top 40 and No. 2 in the UK during the 90s will perform live in concert at The Monastery (formerly The Outpost) in Nivel Hills, Lahug, Cebu City this Thursday, March 26.
Joaquin McWhinney or better known as Quino, the lead singer of the band is very much excited already to play in front of their Cebuano fans.This is the first time for the band to play in the island of Cebu, considered as the reggae capital of the Philippines.
They will be supported by Cebu top reggae bands Junior Kilat, and The Raw Belief with Coolie Dread on decks for a deejay set. “Big Mountain Live in Cebu” is presented by DMC Philippines in partnership with Cebu Parklane International Hotel and The Monastery.
