‘Bet On Your Baby’ returns for season 2

CEBU, Philippines – “Bet On Your Baby” has proven to bring both new and exciting things to local television after a successful second season launch, keeping it at the top of the race in being the country’s cutest game show.

According to data from Kantar Media, “Bet On Your Baby” continues to reign when it comes to TV ratings, emerging with 12.9% during its pilot episode as compared to its rival program’s 8.8%.

The country’s welcome response to the show’s second season, which now airs from Mondays through Fridays, is something that host Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo is very happy about — especially given that she is one of the people that pushed for the show to make a return this early.

Last week’s episodes brought about an exciting first week run, as celebrities and their families joined in on the Baby Dome fun. These families were narrowed down to the families of Denise Laurel, Hyubs Azarcon, Herbet Hernandez, and Justin Cuyugan—with Denise emerging on top and taking home a cash prize of P100,000 from the piggy bank she smashed.

Apart from a new time slot, another thing the country was looking out for was the new series of rounds that the game show had in store. These rounds were “Watcha Makulit,” where Judy Ann could have fun conversations with the baby contestants backstage, and “Dice Dice Baby,” where enjoying the simple act of rolling dice could start to create a change in the lives of the young ones.
