Diane Kruger doesn’t ‘intend to be’ married

CEBU, Philippines - Regardless of her long-term relationship with Joshua Jackson, Diane Kruger isn’t ready to become a married woman. The German actress recently said while promoting the romantic comedy “A Perfect Plan” that she doesn’t have any plans to wed for the second time.

“I love romantic comedies because I think all of us vibe into the idea of love and the crazy story lines to get to love, and join the ride, as silly as it may be. That’s part of the enjoyment of it,” Kruger, 37, told Metro.

“I’m not married and don’t intend to be, and I never believed in love at first sight but I do believe opposites attract,” continued Kruger, who was previously married to actor Guillaume Canet for five years until their split in 2006. “I thought it was a sweet story.”

The former model and Jackson, 36, began dating in 2006, after surviving a terrible first date. “I took her to an Italian restaurant, and there was some flower that was blooming. She was allergic to it so she sniffled and sneezed the entire time,” the Dawson’s Creek alum recalled to Us Weekly at the Television Critics Association event in Beverly Hills in July 2012.

“And when I get nervous, you might have noticed I talk a lot. So I just chewed her ear off for an hour and a half,” he added. “It was amazing. I’m surprised she ever called back.”

The couple, for the most part, have kept mum about their longterm relationship. In 2012, however, Jackson did reveal his desire to become a father. “I mean, I’m at that age,” he told us. (FREEMAN)
