CEBU, Philippines - GMA-7 brings a special holiday treat starting Maundy Thursday of the Holy Week season.

Today, viewers start their day with the timeless movie “God’s Little Children” starring Sunshine Dizon and Daria Ramirez. Before noon, watch the Hollywood film “Free Willy 3: The Rescue” that shows how teenage orca-researcher Jesse (Jason Richter) and his old friend Randolph (August Schellenberg) try to stop an illegal whaler threatening Willy, the whale, and his pregnant mate.

At noon, enjoy the American comedy film “Marley & Me” that stars Jennifer Aniston and Owen Wilson, which features the story of a family who will learn lessons from their adorable, but naughty dog Marley. In the afternoon, fall in love with the hit romantic/drama film “A Walk to Remember” based on the novel of Nicholas Sparks, which stars Mandy Moore and Shane West.

After the Hollywood movies, witness the brilliant acting performances of Johnny Delgado, Cherry Pie Picache, Angel Aquino, and Juliana Palermo in the Filipino drama film “Kaleldo.” By evening, watch “Banal na Paglalakbay” as it documents a one-of-kind journey to the Holy Land of GMA News anchor/DZBB announcer Mike Enriquez, TV host/actor Joey de Leon, and RJ100 FM DJ Danee Samonte. End Maundy Thursday by watching the romantic film “Pangarap Ko ang Ibigin Ka” with Regine Velasquez.

On Good Friday (April 18), catch the drama film Grepor “Butch” Belgica Story, which features the life of a notorious teenage convict played by Joko Diaz. It will be followed by the animated film “Pokemon: Pikachu’s Summer Festival.”

On Good Friday, GMA airs Power to Unite with Elvira and Siete Palabras, which will teach ecclesiastical lessons. GMA regional stations in Cebu and in Davao also air their version of the Siete Palabras 2014.

Filipino movie marathon then follows with “Birhen Manaoag” starring Jodi Sta. Maria, Diamond Star Maricel Soriano’s “Inang Yaya” that features the story of a sacrificial nanny, and the famous film “Crying Ladies” that stars Megastar Sharon Cuneta.

On Black Saturday (April 19), witness the heartwarming story of Crisanta (Judy Ann Santos) who was abandoned by her mother to marry a foreigner in the film “Silang mga Sisiw sa Lansangan.” Then, get ready for a series of animated/fantasy films – “Pokemon: Pikachu’s Ghost Carnival,” “One Piece TV Special: Luffy’s Detective Story,” the well-loved movie “Anastasia,” and “Spy Kids 3: Game Over” starring Alexa Vega and Daryl Sabara, together with Antonio Banderas and Carla Gugino as their parents, and Sylvester Stallone as the antagonist.

In the afternoon, the drama film “Baler” features the unique story of a forbidden love between mestizo soldier Celso (Jericho Rosales) and Filipina lass Feliza (Anne Curtis). By evening, “Panalangin,” a drama starring Marian Rivera, emphasizes the importance of faith and prayer to the Filipinos. Romance/drama film “Just One Summer” starring Julie Anne San Jose and Elmo Magalona shortly follows.

Cap Black Saturday with The Way of the Cross to be led by the Holy Father Pope Francis which airs over GMA via satellite straight from the Vatican.
