SOAK: Cebu’s newest music and arts festival

CEBU, Philippines - SOAK kicks off the summer season in Cebu with a celebration of music, arts, water and earth in one big festival this April 26 at the Family Park in Talamban, 3 p.m. to 12 a.m. Featuring a roster of music acts, art installations, DJs, fun booths, food concessionaires and cool merchandise, SOAK is half-chill, half-party and all-around fun.

Featured performers are June Marieezy, Womb, Kaapin, Honeydrop, Wonggoys, Snubear, Luxx, Ukelele Cebu and Skankin Brews; DJs for the event are Jack Stone, Jom Gonzales, Jong Rei, Pop Days, Jerry Manlangit, Patrick Buttgereit and Marvin Evangelista.

There will also be live art and art installations by The Junks, Wyndelle Remonde, Tom Jopson, Richie Pulvera, Tribu M, Nikka Uminga, Mona Alcudia, Ronyel Compra, Francis Sollano, Stephanie Tudtud and Peter Corazo.

SOAK is organized by The Lemon Collective in partnership with the Metro Cebu Water District to commemorate Earth Day in a fun and fresh way. The Lemon Collective is a group of young creative types doing events that promote the arts and social causes. They are comprised of individuals who were behind the 1UP Relief Drive for the victims of Yolanda last November.
