Summer Paradise: First destination music fest in Cebu’s North

CEBU, Philippines - All roads lead north this May 3, 2014, as Summer Paradise – the newest destination event featuring music, dance, art, fashion, food, fitness, health and partying from 6 a.m. til 6 p.m. – has been prepared for Cebuanos who are ready to get tanned by the scorching heat of the sun and get amped up by the non-stop beat of house music.

As the tag line of Summer Paradise would say “Where Time Stops and Life Begins,” flaunt your bright-printed outfits and embrace the summer vibes in one of the biggest resorts in Compostela, the Green Lagoon Park. Just 26 kilometers away from the city and along the highway of Compostela, Green Lagoon Park can be reached for less than an hour (30-45 minutes) by public transportation.

With a 24-hour event this coming Labor Day weekend, the local government of Compostela has been gearing up for the onslaught of Summer Paradise revellers, and is a hundred percent in full support of the upcoming big summer event by deploying marshals and lifeguards, bouncers for everyone’s security.

Banana boats, zipline and boating are just some of the basic sea activities in Green Lagoon Park. And expect a Ferris Wheel too.

But the fun won’t stop there. Summer Paradise, in partnership with Gold’s Gym, has so much activities to offer in the morning such as Zumba, yoga, body jam and crossfit. Certificates for the fittest man and woman will also be given away (one has to be physically conditioned and not just merely good looking.)

What’s summer without some sports fun? Summer Paradise also partnered with Spike Sports for the First Inter BPO Beach Volleyball to be participated in by eight BPO’s here in Cebu.
