CEBU, Philippines - Jordana Brewster knows that being on the “Fast & Furious 7†set without her late longtime co-star Paul Walker will be hard.
“I haven’t been to set yet, but I imagine it’s going to be very difficult,†the actress, who also stars on “Dallas†said, when asked about the actor who died on November 30 in a car crash. Production on the franchise’s seventh film officially resumed in mid-March, less than four months after the tragedy.
Looking back on their long career together, 33-year-old Brewster is amazed how much they had changed over the years. “I just remember seeing this stud walk into the room and he had this bleached out hair,†she recalled. “I met him as a baby and I saw him grow into an awesome, amazing, charitable man.â€
Adding, “It’s not often you get to work with someone for so many years and he was so exemplary in the way he lived. He was more beautiful inside than out.â€
The late star had already shot a number of scenes for the film, his sixth appearance in the series (having not appeared in “The Fast & the Furious: Tokyo Driftâ€). It’s not known yet how the movie is going to handle saying goodbye to Walker’s character Brian O’Conner, but he will be in the film, although Brewster could not divulge any details.
“I’m looking forward to being back with the ‘Fast’ family, but there’s definitely a key element missing,†Brewster admitted.
“Fast & Furious 7†is slated to be released in 2015. (FREEMAN)
