Winners of the 2013 Cinema One Originals Festival

The Cinema One Originals Festival this year just concluded its awards night which was held at the Dolphy Theater last Saturday. The affair was hosted by Alex Gonzaga and Robi Domingo. Listed here are the winners in the various categories.

For The Special Awards category, “Woman of the Ruins” was given the Audience Choice Award, “Magic Touch” (UE Caloocan and Ruel S. Bayani) for Best Biogesic Short Film and Cinema One Tribute awards for Elwood Perez and Lily Monteverde.

Awardees for the Plus category are: Best Sound for Mark Locsin, Dante Cuanico, Mike Idioma, and Alex Tomboc (“Alamat ni China Doll”); Best Music for Lav Diaz (“Alamat ni China Doll”); Best Production Design for  Marielle Hizon (“Blue Bustamante”); Best Editing for Charliebebs Gohetia (“Alamat ni China Doll”); Best Cinematography for Albert Banzon (“Alamat ni China Doll”); Best Screenplay for Mes de Guzman (“Sitio”); Best Supporting Actor for Peque Gallaga (“Woman of the Ruins”); Best Supporting Actress for Bing Pimentel (“Kabisera”); Best Actor for Joel Torre (“Kabisera”); Best Actress for Angelica Panganiban (“Alamat ni China Doll”); Best Director for Borgy Torre (“Kabisera”); Jury Prize for “Sitio”; and Best Picture for “Alamat ni China Doll.”

Winners for the Currents category are: Best Sound for Mikko Quizon (“Islands”); Best Music for Gauss Obenza (“Riddles of my Homecoming”); Best Production Design for Perry Dizon (“Riddles of my Homecoming”); Best Editing for Dempster Samarista (“Saturday Night Chills”); Best Cinematography for Arbi Balbuena and McRobert Nacario (“Riddles of my Homecoming”); Best Screenplay for Jet Leyco and Norman Wilwayco (“Bukas Na Lang Sapagkat Gabi Na”); Best Supporting Actor for David Chua (“Saturday Night Chills”); Best Supporting Actress for Anna Luna (“Bendor”); Best Actor for Rayver Cruz, Matteo Guidicelli, and Joseph Marco (“Saturday Night Chills”); Best Actress for Vivian Velez (“Bendor”); Best Director for Arnel Mardoquio (“Riddles of my Homecoming”); Jury Prize for “Riddles of my Homecoming” and Best Picture for “Bukas Na Lang Sapagkat Gabi Na.”
