Selena Gomez reveals new crush

The Freeman

CEBU, Philippines - During a stop by Boston’s radio program “The TJ Show,” Selena Gomez confessed that she’s smitten with none other than Drake.

“I’m like, ‘Awww he did that for me,’ when it’s like, he did it on Twitter,” Gomez said whenever she sees a tweet from the “Started From the Bottom” singer. “I’m my, ‘My baby did that for me!’”

Should we be expecting the two to step out as a couple in the near future? Nope, says the 21-year-old brunette beauty. “No, and I mean this in the nicest way. I just don’t think I have a big enough butt for Drake,” she explained while laughing.

Gomez also gushed about another Hollywood heartthrob on the radio show: Zac Efron. While Justin Bieber’s ex was a little more modest in her chatter about the actor, she did say that he is “the nicest person” and “totally attractive.”

The singer also took a moment to address a recent diss made about her by up-and-comer Lorde. The Kiwi had initially called out Gomez’s single “Come & Get It” for its lyrical content.

“I’m a feminist and the theme of her song is, ‘When you’re ready come and get it from me,’” Lorde explained. “I’m sick of women being portrayed this way.”

Gomez fired back by saying, “I appreciate everybody’s opinion, especially because I’ve covered her music lots of times. But I think at the same time that feminism and that specific thing is very sensitive, because in my opinion it’s not feminism if you’re tearing down another artist. So that’s the only thing that I feel, but you know, she’s young, she’s got so much talent, she’s gonna take over, she gets it, so I don’t take it to heart.”

Gomez has since opted to cover Katy Perry’s “Roar” during her Stars Dance tour instead of Lorde’s current megahit “Royals.” (FREEMAN)
