Enpress celebrates 10 years, honors Dekada Awardees
The Entertainment Press Society is celebrating ten years as an award giving body via the Golden Screen Awards to be held on April 27, at Teatrino in Greenhills, San Juan City. As a fitting celebration to mark its tenth year, the Golden Screen Awards is honoring those who have won the Golden Screen Awards trophy two times or more in the ten-year history by giving them the Gallery of Distinction trophy.
The list of Dekada awardees is made up of seven actresses, five actors, a director and three film producers. Likewise, three awardees have won the Breakthrough Performance and went on to win the top acting honors as well. They are Iza Calzado, Dennis Trillo and Sid Lucero.
Judy Ann Santos and Cherry Pie Picache won a trophy each in different categories - Supporting Actress, Lead Role (Drama) and Lead Role (Comedy) while Maricel Soriano won in Drama and one in Comedy, same with Aga Muhlach who also won in Drama and in Comedy.
