Balitang Bisdak marks 13th year with Serbisyong Tinud-Anay

CEBU, Philippines - GMA TV7 Cebu’s preferred local news program Balitang Bisdak capped the month-long celebration of its 13th year anniversary with a medical mission last October 27.

Close to 800 patients from Barangay Mabolo and Barangay Hipodromo benefited from the free medical services such as eye check-up, breast and cervical examinations, blood count, and medical check-up for children and adult.

With a corps of support groups led by the GMA Kapuso Foundation’s Cebu chapter,  other community service partners like the  volunteer doctors, nurses and interns from St. Vincent Hospital and University of Cebu Medical Center, Cebu City Health Department, The Eye Referral Center, Ramon Aboitiz Foundation Inc., and a number of barangay officials and staff,  the medical mission is but one of the many Serbisyong Tinud-anay activities of GMA 7 Cebu.

It is a way of saying thank you to both viewers of Balitang Bisdak for the continued patronage over the years.

Meanwhile, last week, during All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days, Balitang Bisdak teamed up  with  Cebu's number one  morning news  program Buena Mano Balita in giving out free candles, bottled waters, hand towels, and hand sanitizers to the cemetery goers in Carreta Catholic Cemetery and Queen City Memorial Gardens.

Committed not only to deliver responsible news and information, Balitang Bisdak continues to live up to one of its corporate social responsibilities of extending Serbisyong Tinud-anay to all Kapuso.

Starting today, November 12, 2012 Balitang Bisdak will air back-to-back with national primetime newscast’s 24Oras. (FREEMAN)
