TP Philippines drives Cebu BPO growth, earns top taxpayer award

CEBU, Philippines — Global outsourcing leader Teleperformance Philippines (TP Philippines) continues to drive the growth of Cebu’s business process outsourcing (BPO) sector, earning the Top Business Taxpayer award under the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA)-registered enterprise category.

The Cebu City government conferred the prestigious recognition during the 88th Charter Anniversary Celebration Taxpayers Appreciation Night on February 28, 2025.

A powerhouse in digital business services, TP Philippines has played a pivotal role in reinforcing Cebu’s reputation as a premier outsourcing hub. The award acknowledges the company’s substantial investments that fuel economic expansion and bolster the city’s standing in international trade.

This affirms our longstanding partnership with the Cebuanos and our commitment to contribute to industry and government efforts in accelerating economic growth and development in Cebu,” said Rahul Jolly, Chief Executive Officer of TP Philippines.

Since 2020, TP has been a consistent recipient of Cebu City’s top taxpayer recognition, underscoring its role as a key economic contributor. Cebu City Mayor Raymond Alvin N. Garcia expressed gratitude to TP and other awardees, saying, “Your responsibility as taxpayers is a testament to your love for this city. For nearly three decades, Teleperformance has been a catalyst for growth in Cebu’s BPO sector, creating thousands of high-value jobs and fostering economic resilience.
