LH Paragon Group fully acquires diagnostic clinic
CEBU, Philippines — Four years after its successful partnership with Spanish firm Keralty Global, LH Paragon Group Inc., (LHPI) announced its full ownership of the primary healthcare clinic chain, elevating the health and wellness services in Cebu.
Formerly known as Keralty Prime, LHPI’s three diagnostic clinics located in strategic locations in Metro Cebu are now named Clinica Prime, said LH Paragon Group chief finance officer (CFO) Edmun Liu.
Liu said that the acquisition provides LHPI a chance to enhance its position in the healthcare sector, emphasizing the company’s engagement in the medical diagnostics field since 2004.
With this acquisition, the group cements its commitment to promote health literacy among Cebuanos, considering the increased awareness of health and wellness following the COVID-19 pandemic.”
This year, LHPI celebrates its 60th founding anniversary. “We are ready to build and grow our Filipino brand of primary health care, for the Filipino and by the Filipino, with products and services comparable with the best in the world.”
Operated by Cebuano experts in various medical fields and specialties, and led by Clinica Prime Cebu, Inc. (CPCI) president Dr. Bryan Albert Lim, CPCI aims to ensure affordable, high-quality diagnostic and primary healthcare services across its chain of multi-specialty clinics in Mandaue City, Lapu-Lapu City, and Consolacion.
“This is our way of continuing our founder’s vision and legacy of being good stewards, ensuring we make a meaningful and lasting impact on our communities, for the many years to come,” Liu added.
Health is the new Wealth
Leveraging the growing recognition that health is a priority for people of all ages and social backgrounds, Clinica Prime is dedicated not only to offering accessible, high-quality diagnostic services but also to enhancing the overall patient experience, including a thoughtfully designed, relaxing clinic environment.
“Everything we do, how we innovate will all be centered around what the patient needs, and how we can contribute to improving their quality of life. It’s a collective journey to wellness and we take each step with our patients’ well-being in mind, in whatever stage of life they are in. From babies to adults and grandparents, we will accompany our patients’ journey in all of life’s stages,” Lim said.
Emphasizing its core vision of “Patient-Centered Care,” Lim emphasized that Clinica Prime aims to offer personalized healthcare solutions tailored to each patient.
He added that the clinic’s ultimate goal is to provide accessible and effective primary care for every Filipino.
As Filipinos increasingly recognize health and wellness as vital investments, Clinica Prime is committed to reinforcing this mindset by encouraging regular health check-ups.
Meanwhile, as the company plans to open additional diagnostic clinics to improve access for Cebuanos to enhanced diagnostic experiences, Liu mentioned that they are proceeding cautiously to ensure that quality service is consistently maintained in their existing clinics.
LHPI inked a joint venture partnership with the Keralty Global in December 2020, to elevate Cebu’s local healthcare landscape to global standards. This partnership led to the establishment of three multi-specialty clinics.
Keralty Global has exited the Philippine market to concentrate on its core operations in the United States, Europe, and the Americas.
